Recent Beach Club Review:"I stayed in a Sandpiper King, and the decor and quality of the room is much higher than most hotels I've stayed in, it's very nice. The service was very friendly and helpful. The beach is only a couple minute walk from the hotel; there is a private beach and it was easy to borrow for free some basic/cheap beach chairs (the 3 part folding kind that set out flat and ratchet up). Umbrellas and "proper" beach lounges are available but cost money. The only problem I had with the room is that there were a lot of tiny ants in the room, which is odd as the room was otherwise spectacularly clean and looked new/well-sealed. I would have had a big problem with this except the ants never got in our trash, food or bed. They were mostly in the kitchenette and all over the table but we kept our food in bags to keep it from the ants. Since they didn't get into anything and everything else at this hotel was so good, I still say this was the best hotel out of the 4 we stayed in this trip in the Florida area."
